Soft sigh emitting from slightly parted lips, head shifting in order to glance back at the boy who had come to be his first believer; the only one. There would never be any hesitation, when it came to offering advice — even if the words spoken could potentially cause more doubt than confidence.
“Who am I to say? In order to be with you I discarded the very Moon that created me; chose a path that was never meant to be my ‘destiny.’" A light scoff at the thought, destiny, fate, they were but fairytale - a wise man forged his own. Still, what Yoh sought was not easy to answer or achieve.
“In truth, Yoh, I could ask you the same. But I will not — do you know why?" Brilliant azure swept to the brunette, observing him for a breaths time before pale lips drew into a smirk. "I believe in you. Whether we stay with those you left behind, or follow your brother makes no difference; the outcome will be the same, as long as you remain true to yourself.”
Belief, that belief in the unexplainable was what brought them together, what had made them friends, had him ask the impossible for Jack to follow and protect him. He knew he could rely on the spirit, heck… Jack was one of the only two people in this entire world he trusted.
Jack and Hao, he could trust them. ”Yeah you have a point… I hope I didn’t mess things up by asking you to follow me, I wonder what your destiny would’ve been…“ he mused.
However the wintery spirit was offered a smile from the tragic child, ”We’ll believe in each other forever. Until my dying day we’ll always be together just as it should be, protecting and guiding each other. And… I’ll do my best to always stay true to myself.“
