   “To be honest the destination never really mattered, I just needed to get away. It didn’t matter where,“ he replied, shoulders lifting in a quick shrug before continuing. ”..and I would love company, though I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to hold a good conversation. I’ve been alone a long time, kid.“ Might as well be honest about it, right?

   “—Why is that? Wouldn’t it be more fun to play with other children?

霊 —;; “The other children are scared of me." he stated bluntly. "When you can see spirits, or speak to the wind itself, you’re unnatural, a freak. So they avoid you, or they make your life miserable." he gave a soft sigh as he shook his head.

"That’s why I grew to prefer the company of spirits, those that had already passed. They’re easier to talk to and often won’t judge you…" Because usually, they’re just glad somebody else can see and hear them. Yoh gazed at the wintry boy, a soft sad smile to his lips.
