You’re an animal spirit of some kind… Right?” The child was gentle in tone as he gazed at the moon. “Full, that’s a bad omen on a cloudy night. People should be careful that they do not fall prey to the darkness in their hearts.”

Even though Yoh couldn’t tell what was different, a spirit of some kind was close to this one.
Such a difficult thing to understand… but it seemed he meant it. Truly, at times, being a Shaman was not easy. Still, to mention his own death so easily surely meant he had little to no attachment to life. It would make sense… Hao could see the value of the earth itself, but not the things that happened within it.
