{霊} —;; Jack Frost, he doesn’t realize his own power yet. I feel so light-hearted around him. But, he’s not sure of himself quite yet. I’m almost positive he’s the spirit of all of Winter and I want to protect him. Somehow he’s already so precious to me.
{ ❄ }- A bit surprised by the question, Jack had to pause, head tilted ever so slightly as he mulled it over. “Well…that depends. What’s a guardian ghost? And how exactly does it work?“ It was a completely foreign concept, but then again, so were many things. With no memory, the spirit had a lot of questions about the world.
{霊} —;; "Never thought I’d have to explain this. But, heh. A Guardian Ghost is one who helps the shaman out. Directions, fights, we’re always together without exception." he tried to explain. "A Gaurdian Ghost is the shaman’s protector." he added as an after thought. "To do such you enter into this partnership to always and forever help each other until death finally joins you together as spirits.”

There were several reasons he wouldn’t, but the reasons didn’t matter. He would not allow Yoh to give up after he’d gotten the boy this far. If he had wished to give up everything, sooner, before Hao had met him, was his only chance. He was sure, with the personality Yoh had now, that one day he would become strong and much more able to deal with the world.
Truly, the world was not an easy place to exist in. Hao knew that likely better than anyone. Knowing this world as it was, Yoh would definitely suffer problems in the future. Everyone would. But that was no reason for Yoh to drop it all now. His entire future. He had chances now; many chances. For anything. He could become whatever he wished to now. He was no longer shackled by the Asakuras’ “destiny”.
“You’re too free now… to think about losing everything. I need you around anyway for a lot of things. I’m sure you also know this by now, but you don’t want to be anywhere else. Because… you’re happier now. I wouldn’t expect your entire attitude and life itself to change instantly, you know? But it’s never going to change if you don’t give it the time to. You’ve run away from your problems. You have the chance to change your life now as you see fit. Why would you throw this opportunity away?”
Part of Hao was already too used to his twin’s presence to allow it to disappear now. Something about it was close to him… whether it was Yoh’s innocence, or the fact that it was half of his own soul. Was Yoh… the kindness and gentleness he was lacking himself? Had this half of him become the side of him he’d lost in his first life?
He gripped the boy’s hand, much the same way Yoh had always held onto his. “You’re here for me to take care of. So until I see you for one entire day with a content smile on your face around here, I’m keeping you right next to me. You’re not allowed to die. You have purposes in this world, Yoh.”
